Song Lyrics (Other Genres)

Written by me at age 12
by Avas8197

The sounds of screaming I hear,
Not of panic, but of anger.
A lot of insults,
And it sounds like, I'm the victim.
I feel so lonely,
I cry myself to sleep.
Can't hold it in,
God knows how I feel.
Don't let them in, don't let them see,
Or else they will laugh at me.
Close my eyes, don't let them know.
They won't find out!

Let it pass, let it pass,
They will never ever find out.
Let it pass, let it pass,
Turn away and slam the door.
I don't care,
What they always say.
Let their words rage on,
I am great anyway!

I feel like I'm hated,
In this really dark world.
All my friends have other friends,
They don't want me around.
My parents hate me,
'Do this and that'.
I want to die!

Let it pass, let it pass,
They will never ever find out.
Let it pass, let it pass,
Turn away and slam the door.
I don't care,
What they always say.
Let their words rage on,
I am great anyway!

But there at camp with my real friends,
I'm a new person.
No insults, no anger, no loneliness,
I'm free there to do what I want.
I love it!

Don't tell them, don't tell them,
I can keep a secret.
Hold it in, hold it in,
I'm there to party and live on.
There I stand, and there I want to stay.
That's my number one home,
I really need to stay!!
